Summer Retreat

We have our two summer retreats this year and as ever are proving very popular.This years dates are as follows:

26th-29th July. and 9th-13th August.

Taking time away, in a retreat centre is therapeutic for body,mind and spirit.. Frequently people sum up their feelings after a time of retreat with workds such as “this has made all the difference in my life”. or “I can now start again”. or “I have been deeply touched and I know my life has changed”. They begin to get a new and more life giving perspective on their lives.

A retreat is an opportunity to listen to the God who speaks to us in Jesus Christ. His Gospel is the workd of life, and we need to hear it afresh, if it is to touch our hearts and change our lives.

Our task  as disciples is to bring together the teaching of the Gospel and the unique gift of our life experience. In this way we bring the Gospel to life. One sheds light on the other and the saying of Job rings true.
